Music is integral in my life. I wake
up, go to work, work out, eat, clean, shower...
on music.:)) So of course especially it s
even more crucial when I work, especially
after we decide the mood, the direction of
the story.

On sets it depends on the mood looked
for, But usually I love energetic music on
set especially for long hours. Usually it
s better to avoid sad songs on set, it brings
down the energy. Music is so important for
the mood..

What
if on shoot you don't like the music or there
isn't any ? have you ever said changed that
?

It has to be the right one so I am never
ashamed to ask to change. Once I remember
everyone looked very sad on set and then we
realized: we were listening to some weird
sound with bagpipes for an hour!!! Yeah time
to switch the music my friend.

on the shoot ?

I am quiet open minded when it comes
to discover music. When I travel, I love to
ask on sets or to the drivers to make me discover
the local music. When the shoot is quiet sensual,
I love to listen to Latino music.

Growing up in Tunisia
what did you listen to? still do
?

Growing up in Tunisia, I love Arabic
and oriental music in general. I love getting
with my friends and dancing it on. I love
French and Italian music too, very present
there. But I guess growing up in Tunisia put
me in a very multicultural spot. We grew up
listening to music beyond the language barrier.

I am going to answer Ryan Leslie. Because
I share his everyday life, I witness everyday
how incredibly talented and inspiring he is.
I love watching him creating the Music, being
on stage and bringing his vision to life.

etc..He s a genius..
